We’d like to welcome Dero Degens as the latest addition to the Dero Blocks Premium NFTs guide.
It’s the first 16 bit pixel art style hand crafted collection on deronfts.com
The collection size is 2222 units. The quality of the artwork is excellent, the concepts for each character are fun and creators has shown consistent updates since release.
The utility aspect comes in the form avatar usage on the dReam Tables Dero gaming platform and future video game implementations. The “older” collectors who grew up with a Super Nintendo will really like the 16 bit characters in this project. We are curious to see if creators have anything else up their sleeves for future utility.
The original launch was through a Gumball smart contract. Over 80% of the the supply is still available through the standard purchasing process. We believe it has enough units for collectors to choose from and potential future increased valuation.
This remaining supply gives sophisticated collectors plenty of choice and ability build their own sets with the Degen attributes they like.
The last 2 collection releases have been serious design concepts. These 16 bit Degen characters bring back a nice dash of fun into our guide. They have a place in every collector’s Dero NFTs portfolio.
Dero Heist Update
It has been over a week since launch. We're also ecstatic with the airdrops received for displayed A-Team NFTs.
There's so much variety between all the airdropped NFTs and we took advantage of the pre-sale discount to acquire a few more. Between airdrops and purchases, I collected a nice set of characters centred around my favourite city.
Now we've had a chance to dive deeply into Dero Heist and explore all attributes in detail. We also took an opportunity to ask Mr. A a couple of questions about future plans over a Twitter chat.
This is the largest sized collection since Dero Seals to be listed on deronfts.com. Both collections have a simplicity in their artistic design. This simpler approach makes art more accessible to a wider audience. Seals have sold out so it's a much needed addition to the market for new participants to access a premium level collection. Dero NFTs is well poised to serve the next wave of sophisticated collectors with the Dero Innominate and Dero Heist collections running in full swing.
Dero Heist's pre-launch and launch broke the 10000 Dero volume very quickly and it's an excellent metric that confirms its status as an excellent collection to hold for the long term. There are more promotions, events and the Heist Gold Coin airdrop still to come.
We inquired about the Collector challenge events and received a good explanation of the randomness factors built into it. Anyone can read the details on the Collection Page's latest post here. Mr. A noted the upcoming burn feature of deronfts.com and the plans to use it. This feature reduces the total number of NFTs in a given collection and rewards existing holders with a valuation that includes a declining supply over the long term. He said more details will come and the intention is to reward collectors in new interesting ways.
The final impression is this collection is not "frozen" and will have a more dynamic life as each new step of the blueprint gets implemented. It's obvious that we don't have the finalized and full complete picture of Dero Heist. That's exciting news for the early and sophisticated collectors of this NFT project.
Heist First Impressions
It’s an exciting weekend. Dero Heist is viewable on deronfts.com and the past day has been spent going through the website’s largest collection to date.
Our past experiences with most large collections on the Ethereum network have been disappointing. It’s a result of too many NFTs being generated at the expense of art quality. Those collections usually underperform with declining floors over the long term.
This is not the case with Dero Heist. The art quality is felt throughout. It’s a testament to Mr. A’s work in pulling off a sequel that’s notably different but has just enough flavours from the original collection to maintain conceptual continuity.
It’s a home run in the making and early buyers taking advantage of the 30% discount will be well rewarded. There was even a 50% discount for a total of 4 special units that sold out in a minute.
The initial pricing structure is fair and accessible to collectors of all levels. The sophisticated collector can acquire and build themed sets of NFTs across all rarity levels. We find the rarity scoring staggering. It goes from 2 digits into 5 digits, also a first for Dero NFTs.
There’s something about this collection design that hypnotizes the eyes. Attribute distribution is extremely well done. There’s an opportunity to acquire very limited attributes even down at the common rarity levels. It’s a lot of work to sort through the vast size but sharp collectors will be able to identify such opportunities.
The second highest rarity tier is called Ultra Legendary. It appears the highest scoring NFTs within it will only be available as prizes for the advertised upcoming collector challenge events. These NFTs are not open to the pre-launch discount sales. Expect those NFTs to command a large premium on the secondary market from those who are able to win them.
It’s still very early. We recommend collectors take full advantage of the 30% pre-sale discount immediately before it runs out.
Heist is another must own for any sophisticated Dero NFT collector.

Heist is launching
After much anticipation, there is an update on Dero Heist's Twitter today stating: "Collection minting in progress"
HGC tokens are already visible on Dero NFTs.
It appears the collection launch is imminent. We have seen no further information about rarity levels or pricing from Mr. A.
Looking forward to seeing what the entire collection looks like. We will update the journal with more details as the launch progresses.
Stargate Seals
Dero Seals is the first ever private by default NFT collection and considered a must hold for every sophisticated Dero NFT collector.
Dero Seals recently announced the Stargate Seal upgrade only available to ultra rare holders and a select few winners of 35 Stargate NFT auctions.
The upgrade process involves burning the 2D version of your existing NFT in return for an upgrade to the 3D one. This maintains the total supply at current 3500.
Let’s examine the consequences of this upgrade for holders and the overall Dero Seal collection valuation.
Current ultra rare owners can upgrade to the 3D version. The attributes will remain the same for all existing 324 units.
The 35 Stargate auction winners get to choose their own customized attributes for their new 3D version. These ones have new unreleased attributes not available until now. The auction winner will need to burn a common NFT to create their customized unit.
The new upgraded Dero Seals collection numbers will then be as following:
Stargate Eligible
10 Captain
35 Custom Stargate
324 Ultra Rare
Not Stargate Eligible
1103 Rare
2028 Common
Other than the 35 custom Stargate units, it is unknown how many collectors will choose to upgrade. The 3D design is beautiful. It will probably lead to more upgrades than not.
Holders will instantly feel the upgrade is a must as there will only a maximum 369 3D Seals NFTs.
However, the remaining 2D ultra rare units will become rarer through this process and will likely enjoy higher valuations.
Those who hold 2 ultra rare units can easily upgrade just 1. Get access to the Stargate 3D level and keep a 2D one.
Those who hold a single ultra rare do not have such a choice. Go ahead and upgrade if a 3D Seal is appealing.
The last alternative is to compete for one of the 35 Stargate auctions. Those units will have a rarity level just below the Captain and will more than likely enjoy higher future valuations.
We must give props to the Deal Seals team for creating another layer within the collection.
To Stargate or not Stargate… That is the question.

It is first hand crafted 3D design style collection on Dero.
As the footprint of Dero NFTs continues to grow on, a collection with a supply of only 500 units may be highly sought after in the coming months.
The quality of the artwork is sound and the creator has shown consistent updates since release. The utility aspect comes in the form of a luxury card deck NFA on the dReam Tables Dero gaming platform just for owning a part of the collection.
As each batch of Dero Cats sells out, pricing will increase by 20%. Purchasing at launch floor prices is always a good strategy for getting into a new collection.

Dero Innominate Live!
The Dero Innominate collection is live and the pre-sale orders are being filled this morning.
We are extremely excited about the prospects of this new collection. We have been exploring it throughout the weekend and the uniqueness of each unit is simply outstanding.
The cyberpunk aesthetic design has been certainly well executed by JoyRaptor. The human artist touch of this futuristic design captures the intended aesthetic with a 21st century Web 3 version of Japanese manga from decades ago.
This collection marks a new milestone for deronfts.com. It raises quality to the next level. We expect it to perform well over the long term.
Congratulations to the Innominate Team for an excellent execution of a beautifully crafted collection.
Art Agreement
The original A.I. article was indeed too contentious. Emotions started flying in both private and public.
Manipulation accusations led to me looking for the same thing in the markets and causing an unnecessary conflict in the process. I deeply apologize to Kalina and the community.
Mr. A reached out directly with mature and useful feedback. As the elder generation of fine art professionals and NFT enthusiasts, we do have difficulties with the A.I. explosion discussed in the original article.
His argument for community building and focusing on the projects we have a passion for was a great reminder that we do not always need to be fine art critics.
Both sides of the A.I. vs human argument are best served by focusing on what they enjoy rather than what they do not. This is how Dero NFTs will grow and mature best. This is the Art Agreement.
Going forward all commentary will be strictly focused on current and upcoming listings. Journal posts will concentrate on artistic and valuation aspects of the projects we are passionate about.

A-Team Milestone
Dero A-Team early buyers have cause for celebration. Yesterday, the collection achieved the 30000 Dero volume milestone after 3.5 months.
It is a pleasure when a project performs according to the original thesis of acquiring its NFTs with the expectation of strong long term value appreciation.
3.5 months is a short amount of time and this has far exceeded our forecasts.
What does this actually mean? Let us consider these numbers.

0.23% of the total circulating Dero supply
Daily Dero trading volumes at the two major crypto exchanges are currently significantly less than this total volume.
It is a serious achievement for the small 338 NFT total supply of Dero A-Team and empirical evidence of our initial collection valuation theory.
28 units of that supply are community gifts. A significant amount of common units were freely given as part of collection launch and some 2 for 1 holiday promotions.
It is a testament to Mr. A’s abilities as both artist, collection manager and market maker who understands the supply and demand dynamics of a premium NFT collection.
The average floor price has steadily grown organically by over 3x since launch as seen on the chart above, with a 10x spike over the past couple of days. The floor price chart is the textbook picture what Dero Blocks collection curation standards strive to accomplish for sophisticated collectors.
Dero A-Team has quickly achieved these metrics since launch, showing immense valuation growth potential ahead for this project.
It is still early. We continue to recommend buying the still available creator units as long term holdings.
Innominate is coming
I have been waiting months for something else to catch my eye.
Hand drawn art has always been particularly appealing. My physical art collection has many interesting hand drawn pieces.
